Elections update 2011

PC candidate commits to helping Albertans with vision loss cast their votes

CNIB is committed to bringing you relevant information about issues that affect Albertans and all Canadians who are blind or partially sighted – during this election campaign and always. In order to uphold that commitment, we bring you the following announcement from the Alison Redford Campaign:

“The Progressive Conservative Association of Alberta, otherwise known as the Alberta Progressive Conservative Party, is holding a vote on October 1, 2011 to elect its new leader. This individual will become the Premier of Alberta.

The Alison Redford Campaign is prepared to assist those blind and partially sighted individuals both by filling out a party membership for you and by providing transportation to your local polling station to vote. If you are interested in either of these forms of assistance, please call (855) 525-4766. You may also purchase a membership online at http://www.albertapc.ab.ca/admin/contentx/default.cfm?PageId=9244.

We hope to see you on October 1.”
