Eye Safety Workshops for Employers

Lost time, competitiveness, reputation, productivity, profitability and employee morale are all affected. Most workplace eye injuries are preventable.

CNIB’s Industrial Eye Safety Program is aimed at educating organizations and their workers about eye safety in the workplace, building a culture of safety and reducing the associated costs of workplace eye injury. Your people are your best asset. CNIB can help protect your investment.

Our workshop is like nothing your organization has seen before. Your employees will be motivated, captivated and exited by this unique experience. We can also customize a program that will benefit your organization well into the future. To book an eye safety workshop follow this link

An Everyday Hero: Jim Hynes

When a rare condition suddenly robbed Jim Hynes, then 45, of his sight in one eye - it inspired his passion to advocate for other Newfoundlanders and Labradorians living with vision loss.

Hynes was named Canada's first Everyday Hero, a CNIB campaign that raises funds to help individuals build skills to do everyday tasks independently, whether it's preparing a meal, taking the bus or walking safely with a white cane. Today, Hynes and his team of Everyday Heroes have raised more than $375,000 in support of CNIB.

You too can make a lasting difference in the lives of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians who are blind or partially sighted. To learn more about Jim's story, follow this link. If you would like to join Jim's team contact Anna Peddle by phone 709-754-1180 x 5809 or email anna.peddle@cnib.ca
