Research Grants and Awards
Through the CNIB Grants and Fellowships Program, we fund both new and experienced researchers in their investigations in the fields of vision health and vision rehabilitation. Funding applications are peer-reviewed by scientists who are experts in vision health.

CNIB Baker Grants:
CNIB Baker Applied Research FundThis fund supports research that is focused on the social, educational, cultural and rehabilitative needs of Canadians living with vision loss, and the application of assistive devices to meet these needs.
Fellowships:
CNIB Baker Fellowship FundThe Fellowship fund is geared towards researchers who are doing advanced post-graduate training in ophthalmic sub-specialties.

CNIB and the Canadian Glaucoma Clinical Research Council (CGCRC) are pleased to announce a new partnership for funding of clinical glaucoma research in Canada.
- CNIB Chanchlani Award
The CNIB Chanchlani Global Vision Research Award was established in 2011 with the goal of encouraging world researchers in the area of vision science and vision rehabilitation.
