Manitoba Hydro commits support to CNIB in excess of $10,000 annually. Mr. R.B. (Bob) Brennan, President & CEO, Manitoba Hydro is a member of the Manitoba-Saskatchewan Division board. He is also the honorary chairman of the Winnipeg Visions Luncheon and has volunteered in other capacities over the years.

Mr. Brennan became aware of the needs of people living with vision loss when one of his senior employees was afflicted with an eye disease. Naturally, the employee wanted to know if his job was intact, what type of accommodations could be provided, was re-training required, how could he maintain his mobility and other questions related to workplace adaptations and daily living skills.

Since this time, Manitoba Hydro has continued to invest in the programs and services of CNIB. A large financial commitment was made to CNIB's "That All May Read...Campaign" for digital library services along with ongoing commitments to other areas of the organization.

CNIB is very grateful to Mr. Brennan and Manitoba Hydro and we know the financial support will continue to have a tremendous impact on improving the lives of people living with vision loss in Manitoba.
